welcome to mirror mind

” My mirror staring back at me
I couldn’t get any bigger with anyone else besides me
and now it’s clear as this promise.”

There is no other way to get an idea of ourselves without a mirror. It is where we can see our reflection, which is important to build our identity. We indeed become confident when we see ourselves in front of the mirror as good-looking. In the ancient East, mirrors were regarded as sacred objects having magical powers. There is an as interesting story about self-love. According to Greek mythology, Narcissist is a hunter falling in love with his reflection in a pool of water, staring at it for a reminder of his life.

In literature and psychology, a mirror has a significant role. For example, in poetry like ”MIRROR” by Sylvia Plath’s mirror represents the unfeeling male view of a woman and what is socially expected of her. In psychology, the mirror stage is a concept by Jacques Lacan, where infants recognize themselves in a mirror or other symbolic contraption and build their own identity.

How was it if there exits a mirror which can reflect our mind?? Maybe then there could not explore such beautiful paintings, poetry, or any other artwork which seems to bring out unconsciousness. We all are not painters, writer but we have our longings, joys, hopes, and distortion which we want to express. In my Mirror mind, I try to share my ideas and thoughts and wish to associate myself with others.
